 You may wish for a relative to deal with your finances on your behalf. They will arrange with The Lodge to be invoiced at monthly intervals for your accommodation fees and any subsidiary bills such as hairdressing, toiletries etc.

If you have a Social Worker, he/she will have discussed your financial situation prior to your admission and will have agreed an amount with The Lodge and yourself. If you are a Private Resident, then you will have discussed financial arrangements with the Manager. All Residents will be asked to sign a contract on admission with The Lodge

Your accommodation charges cover the cost of your room, heating, lighting, all food and beverages, 24hr personal care and laundering facilities.

You will be required to pay extra for:
• HAIRDRESSER

• CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR

• TOILETRIES

• NEWSPAPERS

• CONFECTIONERY

• PRIVATE CHIROPODY

• DENTAL AND OPTICAL SERVICES FOR WHICH YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR EXEMPTION

• TELEPHONE INSTALLATION & BILLS

• ANY ITEMS OF CLOTHING REQUIRING DRY CLEANING
